Student experiences
- Receive an invitation from Pat the Catbird, a local resident of Ravensbourne National Park, and take up the challenge to help the rainforest’s inhabitants.
- Connect with a tree friend through a sensory blindfold experience and discover the sights, sounds and textures of the rainforest.
- Explore Ravensbourne National Park on a guided walk, discovering it’s inhabitants and investigating the intricate relationships that make the rainforest unique.
- Observe tracks, markings, totem animals and symbols, and explore their meaning through story-making and creative expression.
- Slow down and immerse yourself in the forest, using mindfulness and reflection to appreciate the wonder of the rainforest and consider how we can care for these special places.
