Student experiences
- Explore the textures, colours, lines and shapes of nature, noticing details and patterns that might otherwise go unseen.
- Connect with Country on a bushwalk, using observation and sensory experiences to deepen awareness of the natural environment.
- Collect once-living natural materials and transform them into a collage that captures elements of the natural world.
- Observe tracks, markings, totem animals & symbols, and explore their meaning through story-making and creative expression.
- Create a gratitude card using leaf textures to express appreciation and personal connections to nature.
- Reflect on feelings, meaning and wellbeing, considering how creativity and time in nature can help us connect ourselves, others and Country.
