Student experiences
- Stimulate curiosity about trees and plants through a pre-visit story, exploring the many ways plants support life, providing food, shelter, protection, wellbeing and habitat.
- Connect with a tree friend through a sensory blindfold experience, then explore First Nations knowledge of local plants and their uses during a bushwalk on Country.
- Step into the lives of animals affected by development through role-play, considering how humans might design communities more sustainably.
- Observe tracks, markings, totem animals & symbols, and explore their meaning through story-making and creative expression.
- Solve a problem sent by the trees and work together to develop a response, sending a message back to the trees.
