Program details
Venue: Amaroo Centre Grounds (Kleinton)
Duration: 9.30am–2.30pm
Availability: Term 2 and 3
Supervision: Visiting teacher, support staff and 5 adult supervisors
Student experiences
- Pitch and dismantle tents while learning to use camping equipment safely and confidently.
- Explore the adventure of camping through play-based experiences including role-play, pretend fishing and wildlife observation.
- Meet an ‘Amaroo Buddy’ and practise being a caring camper through shared experiences and learning.
- Embark on a bushwalk to discover the sights, sounds and signs of life within Amaroo's bushland.
