- Become eildlife biologists and investigate the fascinating features and behaviours of animals through hands-on exploration.
- Receive ‘Crazy Critters’ before the excursion and develop hypotheses about how different animal features may help them survive.
- Explore a collection of animal specimens, including skulls, beaks, quills, bones, feathers and X-rays, using reference materials to investigate their features and functions.
- Investigate how animal features and behaviours help animals survive and thrive in different environments.
- Observe local wildlife using cameras and nest boxes around Amaroo, gathering evidence of habitats and animal features.
