Student experiences
- Walk on Country and discover First Nations knowledge and uses of local plants for food, medicine, tools, shelter and crafts.
- Explore the cultural significance of Bunya pine nuts and gatherings, connecting the local landscape with the Bunya Mountains.
- Observe, sketch and journal plants, considering the knowledge held within their uses and relationships with Country.
- Experience traditional games and craft-making, developing appreciation for cultural knowledge passed down through generations.
- Engage with First Nations texts and reflect on connections between people, plants and Country.
