Curriculum connections

Negotiated programs are developed in response to identified QCAA senior syllabus requirements. Programs can support subject-specific knowledge, skills and assessment preparation while maintaining a strong connection to place and authentic environmental contexts.

Student experiences

Depending on the negotiated focus, students may investigate, collect and analyse field data, apply disciplinary knowledge, evaluate evidence, solve problems, communicate findings and reflect on environmental issues and decisions.

What makes it negotiated?

Programs are developed collaboratively where an identified senior secondary learning opportunity aligns with Amaroo EEC’s expertise, educational priorities and capacity, and has potential to strengthen our broader program offering.

Important

Negotiated programs are not commissioned one-off programs. We prioritise ideas that are innovative, educationally purposeful and potentially transferable to other students and schools.
