Amaroo EEC's Catchment Management program ties in with the Senior Secondary Geography Curriculum.
We can support fieldwork relevant to Units 1 & 3 of the Curriculum (Natural and Ecological Hazards and Land Cover Transformations) at field study sites in Toowoomba (Duggan Park), near Pittsworth (Irongate Conservation Park) and in the Goomburra Valley.
Activities could include biocondition assessments, soil testing, collecting data for analysis related to the Invasion Triangle model, water quality (Goomburra only) and evaluating management practices.
